I fixed my chair without even having to get up. I must have knocked the adjustment lever with my huge clown legs, which made the chair as unstable as it was. I just put the lever back again :)

A colleague of mine seems to be having problems with his chair though too. He hasn't been specific with the problem, however fixing it requires him to pick up the chair & repeatedly bang it on the floor with great force.

He's done now. I guess the chair's fixed.

My chair is about to fall apart. Whatever clicks holds it in place has gone, & I'm able to freely lean it back or forward without using the levers. If I get up, it'll collapse & I'll have to fix it or find a new chair. Right now, I'm leaning back so comfortably I don't want to get up, but every now & then I forget myself & lean back a little further, which I can see will eventually result in a failed backflip off the chair & onto the floor. I still can't be bothered to do anything about the chair.

I'm not much cop in the morning. Or any time of the day for that matter.

I decided to bring some oranges to work with me this morning. I popped them in a carrier bag, set them down on the passenger seat, then set off for work. On the way, one orange made a break for it. As I was driving at the time, I couldn't reach out, grab him & put him back in the bag (as you would), so I had to let him run around in the passenger footwell.
I hadn't woken up properly by this point, so I don't really understand why I placed the bag of oranges down in the footwell where the orange was hiding. Could it have been that I was trying to use his three friends to entice him out? Maybe. Was I displaying hints of madness? Again, maybe.
The bag stayed down there for a while - but when I went round one particular bend, I saw from the corner of my eye what looked like other oranges attempting escape. As I straightened up & went round an opposite bend, the oranges disappeared back inside the bag. I tried a few times to pick the bag back up, each time swerving all over the road until I finally got the bag properly. I count the oranges (driving carefully all the while of course!).. One... Two... Three... And FOUR!!! My idiot plan worked! I almost felt guilty eating the reunited friends :)

Been up to the college repeatedly to see/speak to someone, anyone.. But no one is ever available. I have the option to continue for another 2.5 years. I think I'll have a break first.

I think my subconcious is telling me to get divorced. The last mix I made for home use included an unreasonable number of "let's break up, it's for the best" tracks. Mrs Kix didn't hide her non-amusement very well.

Went to see The Illusionist last night. It was good, but would have been better if I wasn't sitting next to two noisy imbeciles throughout the film.

The snow has been causing some fun driving experiences.. There some obvious places to skid in the road, & some less obvious places. Found one this morning as I was leaving the road where I live (well, not living for much longer if I keep failing to pay attention). Heading toward the T junction when I apply the brakes, and I realise as I'm nearly touching the Give Way lines that I haven't actually slowed down yet. I wouldn't mind, except I've fell for it before. And there is *always* a car coming when it happens :)

No more patches for me.

Much like when I stopped smoking & I carried round emergency roll ups, I've now stopped wearing patches but have on me an emergency patch. It's pretty useless as I'm sure it takes a while for the nicotine to get from the patch into my system.

But I should be ok. I decided to not wear any more as I forgot *again* to put on a new patch yesterday. I took it off last night & have been patch free ever since.

I forgot to renew my patch today. I don't know if that's having any effect on how I'm feeling.

Frustrated because I don't know if I was listened to in the meeting.

Frustrated because I told my boss to go to the meeting for himself & he pretends like I never said anything, then saying his future devastating actions are a consequence of what *I say* happened in this meeting. Like he never had the opportunity to attend.

Frustrated because when I'm busy, I keep getting bothered with nonsensical comments from non busy people who really should be busier than me. So says their payslip at least.

Frustrated because nobody helps except me.

Weekend was pretty boring, other than that I've now just about finished everything in the house! Only general cleaning up left to do. After that, there's the shed to tidy up, then the car to clean.

Worked out that there are roughly 6 more college days to attend until I'm finished there. One of those days includes an exam. I almost forgot what those were :) It's open book like the one from the beginning of this year, though we've been advised not to bring any books in (just some handouts).

Instead of taking any action, I should let the shit fly through the fan & splat all over their smug shitty idiot faces.

Except I can't. I'll end up sorting out their mess (rather, preventing/delaying any mess from even happening), & they'll just get a stern email from one of the bosses about what might have happened. Which will never be replied to, taken notice of, or anything. In fact, I hope they don't take any notice, because one day I won't be here to sort out any mess & everything will blow up, exposing them for the fucktards they truly are.

Though I bet I'll still get the blame.
